Wissahickon pulled off a win against a strong Plymouth Whitemarsh team. Leading by 3 at the half, Wissahickon did not let down. Gaining draw control and ground ball possession were key in the game, as the Trojans scored 3 in the second half to end the game 11-8. Emily Vervlied had 4 goals, Lauren Irvine and Carolyn Wilde both had 2 goals, Claire Tarzia, Marie Dickson and Lana Doskicz all had 1 goal. Wilde had 2 assists, Mary Matthews and Tarzia each had 1 assist. Goalie Kyra Myers had 10 saves and played a fantastic 2nd half.

Possession of the ball was key throughout the game. Wissahickon was patient with the ball and controlled their possessions. PW had some good transition, but turnovers and poor shot selection continues to hinder their success.
