Lower Moreland defeated the Varsity squad from Academy of the New Church today in non-league play. Goals were scored by sophomore striker Gabe Krutsinger and junior midfielder Matt Ernst. The game was a collective effort by the Lions team, who controlled the tempo for most of the game. Junior Brian Grant got the start, and earned a shutout in goal.
