CR NORTH 2- CB EAST 1

Nick Wise scored what would be the game winner right before halftime as North led 2-0
at intermission. Simon Rupp opened the scoring for the visiting Indians about 7 minutes in
with a brilliant across the grain run from the left flank to the center of the field and buried a
top of the box low liner. Trevor Jopling made things interesting putting East within a score
with 6 minutes left. North pressured most of the game but East keeper Casey Prazner was
very good in goal and kept the match tight. The North central midfield tandem of Nick Cirincione
and Ari Pollack were the engine all day. Defensively for North Ryan Muroff, Connor Cell, Jeremy
Kamp and Chase McCaffrey held East to very few chances. Cole Hedden and Dylan Rose were
quite good for CB East today. North now 4-3-1 in SOL, 4-4-1 overall while CB East 4-2-2 SOL and
overall 5-2-2.
