We controlled most of the first half but once we got near the goal we made a poor decision or did connect on that last pass. Mike Albarran scored 30 seconds into the second half when Cole Jackson sent him in on a breakaway and he calmly slid it by the CRS GK. Sean Armstrong beat a couple N defenders 10 minutes later and slipped a pass to Michael Morini who shot it past a diving Trevor Rush to tie it at 1. Justin Lykonov (Rich Faul Assist) beat a CRS defender at the top of the penalty area and hammered home a left footed shot. 2-1 N. Lykonov delivered a touch pass to Matt Lamb in the box and shot if off the post and into the net for a 3-1 score. All in all it was a really solid effort today, we felt we played well on Thursday and Friday of last week but didn't get the result. It was good to get put on in the win column. Rich Faul did a great job in the defensive MF and Sophomores Vince DiMaria and Matt Lamb gave a spark off the bench.
