Christian Rodgers headed in a Mike Thomas cross to put Neshaminy up 1-0 (2nd minute).
Mike Thomas collected his second goal of the year to make it 2-0 when he collected a Ramir Cofield cross, took a quick touch and drilled it past the keeper (12th minute). CRS got on the board in the 36th minute. Neshaminy took a reckless foul 25 yards out and Justin Segal took advatange on the ensuing free kick. Halftime 2-1 Neshaminy. We played a solid first half, created a number of chances but could cash in. The weather played a factor in the second half, never team really got in the flow. In the 79th minute, Vincent McGlynn dribble by 4 CRS defenders hit a cross to Christian Rodgers who slotted it in the seal the game at 3-1. We withstood the physical play of a very competitive, well coached CRS team. It is nice to start the season with 2 wins out of the gate.
