CRS beat Souderton 2-1. Goals by Josh Nikolevski (20th minute) and Everett Kurtz (60th) assisted by Lex Lenoir. Souderton scored in the 50th to tie the game 1-1. Souderton is an excellent side and their movement off the ball is mesmerizing. But we won the game in the trenches, won the tackles and headers. We tried to limit their space and disrupted their rhythm and it flipped the game in our favor. Josh Nikolevski, Stepan Kovalev, and Isaac Burenga were very disciplined and Everett Kurtz was relentless in keeping a very high tempo for us, and his winner was a just result for his efforts. But if I'm being honest, we are very fortunate to take full points, bc Matt Benner has them playing a wonderful brand of football.
