Upper Moreland Bears Boys soccer team visited Springfield Township High School and defeated them by the score of 2-0. It was a defensive battle between the two squads but UM struck early in the second half to break the scoreless tie. Tommy Hays drew a penalty kick for the Bears which Menvekeh Daramay scored on. Later in the half Daramay struck again, breaking the backs of host Springfield. Daramay took a pass from Tim DeCarolis off a corner and hit a laser into the far corner of the goal which put the game away for the Bears. Upper Morelands, once again held strong by Kyle Lynch, played a solid game by allowing very few opportunities for Springfield to capitalize on. Upper Moreland moves to 5-1 for the season.
