The Upper Moreland Boys Varsity soccer team defeated Bensalem at home today by a score of 3-2 to improve their record to 7-2. The Bears went down 2-0 in the first half and scored a goal just before halftime on a long throw from Josh Henderson to the head of Logan Taylor to make it 2-1. Aaron Snyder saved a penalty kick from Bensalem to keep the game in reach and Logan Taylor would strike again later in the second half to even the score at two a piece. The go ahead goal was scored with just over 2 minutes left off a scramble in front of the net by Max Gerlach. The Bear will wait for the district seeding meeting Wednesday to find out who their next opponent will be.
