9/28/10 – UM vs Cheltenham

The Bears of Upper Moreland played host to the Cheltenham Panthers on Tuesday afternoon in boys’ soccer and defeated them 1-0. Upper Moreland’s defense set the tone of the match early and often allowing very little for the Panthers to feed off of to gain any sort of momentum. Kyle Lynch, Nate Roberts, and Carl Wambold performed brilliantly while Kyle Walder and Tim Uvegas each shared the shut out in goal as well as time in the fullback position which solidified UM’s victory. The lone goal of the match came from Menvekah Daramay as he intercepted a pass attempt that lead to a breakaway goal. Upper Moreland’s latest victory puts their season record to 6-1.
