Abington scored 1st on a nice play by #6 Patrick Capone on the left to our keeper from a cross. We responded pretty quick and tied the game off a deflected long cross by Bryce deFontney. Paul Nedeoglo scored the first of his two goals taking a nice touch and finishing to the corner. It was 2-1 at half. Paul scored going into a tackle hard and was fortunate to get a good bounce to earn his second goal. I was happy with the way we played today especially after losing big last game. We showed great character today against one of the best teams in the area. Give credit to #7 Thiago Danielle along with #10 Liam Hartman who we knew were going to be a challenge and they were awesome players. They are very well coached and have talent at every position. We had to play a strong game to compete and did today. I give credit to our center mids Jimmy Manning and Ryan Kerr, who in my opinion, played very well.
