Abington succumbed to the Rock South pressure 3-1 today. The first goal caromed off an Abington defender past Ali Dobson, the Ghosts goalkeeper. Rock's second tally was a perfectly struck corner kick that was headed in by Erica Crosier. Rock extended its lead to 3-0 when Michaela Mikula picked up a ball that Dobson dropped and promptly deposited into the Abington net. Kayla Nolan tallied a late marker for the Ghosts who pressured until the final whistle. Gabby Nyirjesy contributed another solid defensive performance from her midfield position.
