Abington's lack of discipline proved to be its downfall as they committed a retaliation foul after the play and surrendered a free kick ouside of the eighteen yard box which Tennent's Emily Wasserleben headed into the goal. The free kick fell to Wasserleben who ran down the center of the Abington defense and took a hard shot that was saved by Destiny Walters. The rebound came back to Wasserleben who calmly headed the ball into the goal.
