Central Bucks East Comments
I thought the first half was pretty even in turns of chances, our goal coming off of our last game against West was to establish control of the game early and thought that there were good pockets of possession for us in this one. Brooke Roumy scored a fantastic goal along the right endline by turning her defender and driving a ball over their goalkeeper a little over halfway through the first half. The second goal came shortly after from Sara Fezzuoglio off an Elliot Forney free kick that hit the crossbar. Great service and even better timed run to make the play on the back post.

The second half started very well with some good combination play. The movement and effort between Olivia Portner, Katie Volans, Brooke Roumy, and Elliot Forney provided some great outlets for girls like Elise Duffy, Izze Mignon, and Chloe Strawn to run at defenders and get shots off.

I can't say enough about the effort from North Penn. Their goalkeeper and backline played a very good game and their midfield and frontline kept up the pressure to the final whistle. It was a tight game where I thought we took care of our early chances, which allowed us to rotate some more girls into the game. Credit goes to our backline for keeping the clean sheet and to all 25 girls for managing the game and walking away with 3 points at home.
