Central Bucks South Comments
We lost a tough game against a really good East team. Olivia Daniele scored the first goal of the game 33.02 into the first half. Unfortunately that was the only goal we would create. We had Several chances that were generated in the box that could not be finished. It was the second time we played East to 2-1 game. We will learn from this game and hopefully gain valuable experience that will help us the remainder of the year. I was really proud of the mentality we had going into the game. The girls played hard it was just a difference of two half's.

JN Comments: First off, massive props to CB South for the effort and intensity they brought to this game. For the first 15 minutes they were all over us and we were really off and they capitalized early. I thought we found a good rhythm to us late in the first and most definitely in the second, but both teams created enough to win this game, no doubt out about it. Their girls are one of the best transitional teams I've seen, and I'm so proud of our girls for digging in and pulling out a win in this one.

Mia Forney leveled the game from a great ball by Ava Mignon a little less than 10 minutes after South opened the scoreline and it was simply Mia being Mia. Great pace, great off the dribble, and an awesome finish. She drew a lot of attention in this game defensively and still managed to break through and create a few really good opportunities.

Second half, we made a few minor tweaks and the girls just settled in to the game a bit. Our midfield had a really, really good night combining off one another, Kiera was great tonight - super composed- and Jessie and Stella just kept getting the girls around them involved, taking their space well, which just opened up the game for us in their half.

The game winner: After a really great run from Taylor Roumy on the dribble, the ball went out for a throw on the left side, right near the 18. Stella Genin made a great heads-up play to throw it in to Ava who was sitting a bit outside the box. Ava just squared her hips up and hit one of the best balls I've seen at this level. Ava is one of those kids who does so much work for us, everywhere, and spends most of her time doing the little things that make this team tick, so to see her step up, again against South, and score that goal... its a great moment and she's so deserving. From there, that last 15 was a bit of a battle, we had to see off a few good chances from South, and were incredibly happy to see the scoreboard hit 0. Overall, exactly the type of game you'd expect from two sister schools and this conference in late September, and we are happy to get the 3 points on the road.
