We beat South 4-0.
This was our third away game in a row playing on a really bad grass field. It took us a little bit to get into the game and figure the field out. Once we settled in it was nice to watch us take control. Our first goal came on a head ball from Taylor Moyer that Riley Corona netted for her first Varsity goal.

Our second goal featured a beautiful played ball from Tori Albrecht that hit Ryan Fitz in stride and she hit a steamer to give us a 2-0 lead.

Our 3rd goal was just excellent hustle by Riley who kept the ball alive in their box and Mariella Neri was in the right place to bury it to give us a 3-0 lead at halftime.

We had numerous chances in the second half but couldn’t find the net. Finally we got the 4th goal when Taylor controlled a great ball by Ryan and took a shot that deflected off one of their defenders and into the goal to secure the 4-0 win.

I was really pleased with my back line and Jenna Abazza for keeping yet another clean sheet. We now have to get ready for our annual kick for pink game Thursday night against East.
