We beat New Hope-Solebury 1-0. We knew coming into this game that it was going to be a battle having lost to them earlier in the season 1-0. In the first half there were numerous opportunities for us to score, but the combination of their defense and our misses left us scoreless at half. At halftime I talked to the girls about bringing energy both on the field and on the sideline in the second half and that’s what made the difference. We talked more, connected more passes, and could feel that a goal was coming. With about 10 minutes left Lola Jahss found the back of the net to put us up 1-0. I want shoutout our midfield today who made some great runs and played very well on both ends of the field. Our defense again held strong and our goalies, Rohan McInneshin and Amaya Washington, earned the combined shutout. It was a full team effort to earn the win today.
