Another solid performance today gave us a win. Any time we play Pennsbury we expect a tough contest and we got another one. We've become accustomed to games going the distance, so far this season we've played 2 OT games and also scored in the last 5 mins twice to win a game. That was the outcome today. Credit to the group of players we have to continue to work until the final whistle, we have been preaching how deep we believe we are, and rotating our forwards continues to pay off in these moments. Our back line is getting stronger every game, Marlena & Ella in front of them continue to impress.
Todays contest was decided on a PK after a handball, Taylor Brennan scored it, I do think that we had the better of the chances overall and we felt like we deserved that win. Danielle Eden got another shutout with 8 saves and it was well deserved.
We are starting to come together little by little, players are defining their roles and the competition for minutes is pushing everyone to improve.
