It was a much closer game than the score indicates. Abington is an extremely organized, disciplined, and tough team. The game went back and forth with both teams having stretches of possession. Sierra scored with about 15 minutes left in the game to open up the scoring. We were able to capitalize on counter attacks in the final minutes when Abington was pushing forward. Emily Helmich came up with numerous big saves for us, and the backline held steady.
