Council Rock throttled the Lady Ghosts yesterday 5-0. The game was even through thirty minutes when Rock South broke through and scored a very nice goal from the top of the box. Just before the intermission, Council Rock scored on a volley from a corner kick. The Ghosts were unable to stop the bleeding and Council Rock capitalized on a gorgeous pass from the flank across the mouth of the goal which was hammered home by a streaking Rock player. Thereafter, Rock tallied two more times to put the final nails in the Ghosts coffin. Gabby Nyirjesy turned in her usual consistent effort for the Lady Ghosts who hope to rebound against Bensalem on Friday evening.
