East was able to get off to a fast start in the first half to help secure the win, the team's 8th on the year. Goalkeeper Skylar Gash was able to secure her 6th shutout this season. Julia Santanello, Morgan Kelly, Elliot Forney, and Chantal Van Dongeren were able to contribute to the scoreline, all landing their first recorded varsity goal.

"It was great to see a number of first varsity goals for our group. So many of our kids do the hard work that doesn't show up on the score sheet so it means a lot when they have their moment. With us shifting around of number of our kids, massive credit goes to Grace Heenan for keeping us anchored in the back and keeping the game organized.
