We came out very flat in the first half. We were not connecting passes through the midfield and we had little movement off the ball. Defensively our back four of Marisa Bennett, Maddy Morino, Cara Neeld and Madison Duggan, were solid as they have been all year.

Second half we were a different team. Connecting passes through the midfield and getting runs behind their defense. We started creating scoring chances. Ryleigh White was putting their backs under pressure and was able to find Lily Harvey who made a nice run to goal. Lily took a great touch and slid a left footed shot to the far post to put us up 1-0.

Our second goal came off a great individual play by Angelica Visceglia. She won the ball in the midfield and made a quickly little move to beat her player and then put a great ball into Lily Harvey who was making a great run between the center backs. Their keeper was coming hard to the ball and Lilly hit another great left footed shot over the keeper into the upper corner.

Senior Keeper Riley McGuire made some great saves to earn the clean sheet.
