On a very hot day our girls did a great job at keeping possession and utilizing the space on the field. We went deep into our roster today and got good minutes from everyone. Sammy Judge score our first goal from over 30 yards out, it was a great hit. Kaleigh O’Donnell scored the second midway through the second half on an assist from Paige Addis. We had to withstand some late pressure, Lilly Ries and Brooke Strobel did a good job of eliminating the threats at center back. Anna Cairone and Maddy Nusca did a nice job in midfield today, defending well and keeping possession at the right time to allow us to build the play. We had a tough loss on a Friday in double OT but the girls bounced back well today.
