Abington defeated a very tough, skilled Lower Merion team. Lower Merion opened the scoring and Abington answered on a goal by Carley Slavin assisted by Lanae Wilson-Mattison. In the second half Abington converted a free kick when Maura Day threaded a pass to Piper McGinley who converted. Alexis Ditri ably played the closer role for the Ghosts.
