Lower Moreland vs. Delaware County Christian

Lower Moreland Comments
Tonight was a challenging win. Delco put a lot of pressure on us and disrupted our play in the first half. As a result, we were pretty sloppy for the first 20 minutes of the game.

We managed only one goal in the first half off of a corner kick to Kenna Rozanski. We went into halftime kind of frustrated. We found oursleves on edge as we processed the half -but then some of the girls noticed we were getting down on each other and rallied together, while Assistant Coach Pat Brady started hyping the girls up. We went into the second half with a lot more energy. I respect our girls for rallying together and working together to encourage one another towards much better play.

Our defense continued to get the job done, rallying around goal keeper Guilianna Fogarty as the group got its 7th shut out of the season. They continue to be consistent in their play. Hannah Wasserstrom played a really smart game in the back line tonight.

Offensively, Ruby Levin put lots of pressure on Delco's defensive unit. She is really quick and often hard to contain. Additionally, the Rozanski sisters (Kenna and Quinn) connected with one another several times with some really effective combination passes.

Though it was a sloppy start, the girls did well playing with energy in the second half and came away with a strong win.
