I’m very happy for the kids to start the season 1-0 after two hard weeks of work. To have four different goal scorers was great to see and honestly, what the coaches expect this season.

It is no secret that we lost one of the best keepers in the District for the past three years, Caitlyn Dinh. Junior Olivia Bragg got her first varsity start in net and I’m sure a clean sheet in Game #1 is a huge confidence boost.

Today, we sent out a backline of senior Katie Lukens, Junior Maddie McLaughlin, sophomore Soph Nagle, and freshman Harper Reilly. For their first time playing together, they were terrific. Junior Liv Budin played strong defensively in midfield.

Today was a great start but we recognize that we have a lot more work to do before league play begins.
