Upper Moreland played well today and moved the ball nicely. We struggled the first half to find momentum and were down 2-0 at half. The second half the girls started to find a rhythm and we were able to maintain possession and get some chances on net. We are a young team that has unfortunately suffered a number of key player injuries this season, but the team is starting to step up to fill those roles and I’m proud of the girls for finishing strong.

Jaime Gugger and Hailey Castellano both had standout games today.

Today’s win was a solid team effort. We were able to control the ball, move it through our system and generate an attack. We had three different goal scorers and it started with Ava Warga getting her first varsity goal. Leah King was a standout today, she had a really solid showing. We had a good rotation of girls getting on the field which helped in keeping our legs fresh. I am really proud of the way the girls finished this week, and we will continue to put in the work and carry this momentum into next week.
