Central Bucks East Comments
East was able to pick up its second win of the week and their 5th of the year. After falling behind 0-1 in the first half, East was able to capitalize twice to take the win. The first goal was scored by Elise Duffy from an assist by Camryn Williams. This was Duffy's 6th in as many games. The second goal was scored off a deep restart from Center Back, Courtney Curry, from an Elliot Forney assist.

I thought North Penn was excellent tonight. The game was incredibly tight and challenges us for a full 80 minutes. Credit to the coaching staff and to the girls because the level of organization they brought to the game was not easy to play against.

In terms of our group, I thought Cam Williams and Chloe Strawn set the tone out wide for us today - both of them were able to create a number of good chances for themselves and for players like Elise. Morgan Kelly and Sophie Schorn in the center of the park gave us some critical minutes where and when we needed stability. Kelly Keen gave us a great game in the back today. I'm proud of her for epitomizing what our program is all about and handling a lot of pressure from her side. Any time you see a center back score, especially off a header like that, it just gives you chills. It was a special moment for Courtney and our group. Now on to prepping for CR South at home on Friday.
