Both teams battled back and forth and it was a pretty even first half. The first half ended 0-0.

The second half we came out fast. We switched up our formation to try and free up our outside mids and 4 minutes into the half we got a great goal. It came in off a throw in and got headed around a bit and Keely McGlone touched the ball to Taylor Moyer who turned a ripped a shot that blew the back of the net out. She hit it great!

After that it was back and forth. We held on and finished the game out. The last 4 minutes we were just trying to interrupt there offensive power. They hit the top of the crossbar with under a minute left that aged me 10 years.

I have the most respect not only for Audrey but the program that she has built. That is what I’m trying to do at West. She just got her 100th win and I think she’s only been the head coach for 7 or 8 years. That is remarkable and I hope her program knows what a great leader they have.

D. Trish Hauck Megan Gallagher and Keely McGlone played lights out keeping their forwards in front of them all game. And Jenna Abaza made a great break away save with under 4 minutes to play to preserve the clean sheet.
