Very hard fought physical game from the opening whistle. Every ball challenged by both teams. We had played hard in spurts the first few games but today we played hard for a full 80 minutes. The effort today was outstanding and is the bar for all games going forward.

Qtown was up 2-0 at the half. Our midfield had a tough challenge going up against Qtown Junior, Faith Greenday, who is an outstanding box to box center mid. I was proud of our girls effort defending her.

We had great defensive effort by juniors Maddy Morino, Cara Neeld and Madison Dugan.

Second half goal was scored on a well struck free kick from 25 yards out by sophomore midfielder Lexi Cohen.
