Central Bucks East Comments
CB East girls soccer won a very competitive game against Souderton to pick up a big 3 points in the league. Goals came from Courtney Curry off of an Elliot Forney corner. Elise Duffy slotted the second off of a breakaway. Both goals were scored in the second half after a deadlocked 0-0 first half.
Excellent games from Olivia Portner, Elliott Forney, and Brooke Roumy in the midfield. Established possession against a very talented Souderton team.
Goalkeeper Skyler Gash and center backs Bailey Schellhorn and Courtney Curry were critical in organizing the team in front of them and stretching out the game when needed.

Souderton - 0
CB East - 2
Souderton started strong in the first half of their home opener, but eventually fell to Central Bucks East who refused to let up. After the first 40 minutes, Souderton appeared to be on the front foot, but after half East found another gear. East eventually scored on a corner kick and then a defensive miscue by Souderton in the final 5 minutes gave East the chance to go up 2-0. Souderton travels to North Penn on Tuesday.
