The team put up an outstanding performance against tough competition in our final home game of the season. After falling 4-2 to CB West earlier this season, the team felt like it had something to prove against the Bucks at home. A hard fought performance from the home team put the game well beyond reach in a dominant last-stand performance to end the season.

Senior Hannah Alderfer was one of the game's stand-out performers, grabbing a hat-trick and an assist. Alderfer's first game came off a throw in; Kait DiCandilo sent in a cross that was flicked on by Alexis Stefanowicz. The ball found Alderfer in a lot of space on the far post for a well placed finish into the opposite corner. Alderfer's second goal came after tenacious pressing between her and Junior Avery Nogami upfield. The pair won the ball off West's goalkeeper as Alderfer calmly slotted home the finish.

We went into the half up 2-0, but were far from finished. The same intensity and high-pressing we brought in the first half helped us continue to control the match. With 33 minutes left to play, DiCandilo fought to win the ball about 35 yards from West's net, as she broke free from her defender she was able to let loose a shot that found the top corner to put Souderton up 3-0.

Our ability to continue to press relentlessly earned us 3 more goals in the match. Nogami earned one on her own as she pushed the last defender and the goalkeeper to poke home a finish. Shortly after, Alderfer found Katie Pazdziorko for her first goal of the match, and Pazdziorko quickly returned the favor to Alderfer to help her complete the hat-trick.

An all around outstanding performance from our team to end the season. Our team has a number of injuries and we relied on leadership from upperclassmen, as well as some outstanding performances from underclassmen who rose to the occasion when their name was called. Taylor Yoder and Maggie Fisher were outstanding at center-back, Natalie Rankin was rock-solid in her varsity debut, and Morgan Molyneaux got a well-deserved shutout.
