Despite what the scoreline says, senior goalkeeper Abby Allen had a phenomenal game. From that game alone I think I could put together a full highlight real of some really amazing saves. She also led with her communication.
In the first half I thought we put up a really strong performance. We were organized, communicating effectively, and had great energy. Pennridge’s two goals in the first half came from the penalty spot and a miscommunication at the back, and I felt like we did a good job of frustrating them. Unfortunately, we lost our legs a bit in the second half after defending so hard in the first and the game got away from us in the end. We’ll take the positive performance from the first half and look to build from there moving forward.
