A great afternoon for soccer and a nice game between Upper Dublin and Springfield. The match play was relatively even throughout the first half - the majority of the first half was 1-1 but ended with a 3-1. Upper Dublin notched two additional goals (can't tell you who had goals or assists). The goal for Springfield came off a cross from freshman Paige Morrison with a header by junior Annie Crudele. The second half was a back and forth game. Springfield was able to capitalize late in the second half with a quick pass from sophmore Shannon Gunning to Annie Crudele who went one on one with a defender and tucked it neatly in the corner to end the game 3-2 in Upper Dublin's favor.
