Today's match was another solid effort and team win for us. We were able again to get a good rotation of players onto the field to help maintain our legs and our drive. Cheltenham is a physically strong team, and we knew that would show up for this game. They were very organized in their system, and played well. On our side, Keiley Hawk stepped up big today. She had a great game. She has been an integral part of our attack, on both finishing and finding her teammates. Madeline Cox was smart with the ball, she found her combination play and continued to be a difficult player to match and guard today. In the midfield Grace Perce, Kayla Robinson, Maggie Brophy and Stef Jones were able to keep control of the ball and play through the system to help generate our attack. Annalise Messina was able to contain Cheltenham's attacks, as well as be an offensive threat. A shout out to Alison Diaz playing in her first varsity game today, she worked hard on the field and was able to provide a spark for her teammates.
A great team win.
