Upper Moreland played well today. They kept our defenders on their toes with through balls. They moved the ball well and were able to put a few longer shots in the back of the net.
We worked hard to win the ball tonight but we struggled to maintain possession and capitalize on our chances. If we had had a few a luckier bounces tonight the game could have easily been a lot closer.
Addy Weisbrot, had a standout game today along with our back line of Jaime Gugger, Lily Marrone, Rebecca Peterson and Hailey Castellano. The back line played cohesively and were able to force UM offside a number of times which was great to see.

We had a quick turnaround from yesterday's match versus Upper Merion. We knew that today's match would be just as tough as yesterdays and that every game counts. We were able to get a really good mix of girls on the field which helped in saving our legs. As girls entered the match, the level of played stayed consistent which allowed us to continue to high pressure New Hope and were able to keep the ball in our offensive half. New Hope packed in their defense making it difficult to get through. In the 22nd minute we were awarded a corner, and Lizzie Walker found Maggie Brophy at the far post. Two minutes later Madeline Cox played a ball back to Maggie Brophy who put the ball in the upper ninety. It was a really well played shot. Brophy has really come into her game, holding the middle of our field and becoming more of an offensive threat. In the 45th minute Lizzie Walker was able to take another corner for us and just place it perfectly in the net. Lizzie's ability to execute a set piece is one of our biggest advantages. She is so precise and consistent. Today was a great team effort, with strong contributions from Gracie Costello, Annalise Messina, Maggie Brophy, Lizzie Walker, and Madeline Cox.
