Springfield maintained control of the game during the first half. A strategically placed ball by Tierney Carabba off a selfless pass from Kiersten McLennan right in front of the net gave Springfield the needed edge. Upper Moreland's keeper made some nice saves. The second half saw a renewed set of Bears come out. Springfield was able to hold off the pressure with some quality defense from Koroncai, Thomas, Tomlinson, Simmons and Boles. Springfield applied some offensive pressure towards the end to hold off the Bears.
