A tough game tonight against a well coached Henderson team. A pretty even game but we managed to take our best chance and come away with a win.
I thought started well and were the better team in the first half, we created some good combinations and some half chances, Isabel Diaz hit the crossbar from long range, no goals in the first half.
Second half Henderson came out stronger and we had to defend a little more, then with around 12 mins to go we had an attack that ended with Keagan Terry finding Audrey Rogan who finished well for the winning goal.
I was really pleased with our overall play, level of intensity and effort, especially after playing in the heat on Friday. I thought our whole senior group did a great job tonight with their play and intensity in a tough game. A great overall win and a solid start to the season for us.
