This was a tale of two halves, we came out slow and allowed Springfield's formidable fowards to posses the ball and put a lot of pressure on our back line. Abi Meehan junior and Theresa Ditri senior were solid on defense. Maddie Hughes senior scored our first and only goal of the first half on a deflection of a perfectly executed corner kick from Sofia Jakimoski sophmore. We came out strong in the second half and turned the tables of the possession game. Sofia Jakimoski scored on an assist from Bailey Kasner freshman. Bailey battled through three defenders and was able to feed Sofia a ball that she finished on. Bailey had two goals of her own and played a very strong game in the midfield. Paige Marek junior assisted on both of Bailey's goals. Theresa Ditri had 2 goals in the last 15 minutes of the game with assists from Abi Meehan and Mikayla Nye.
