Lower Moreland's junior Clare O'Donnell pitched a one-hitter, with 9 strikeouts and 4 walks, in a 12-0 win over their next door neighbor, The Academy of the New Church.

The Lions scored one run in each of the first, second, and third innings for a 3-0 lead, and then exploded in the 4th inning with 9 more runs to take a commanding 12-0 lead. Senior Hannah Klanderman and junior Liz Neeld led the way offensively, both having perfect bats for the day.

Neeld wasted no time getting her team on the board with a solo homerun in the top of the first inning. In the second inning, O'Donnell singled, stole second base, and then scored on a single by Klanderman. In the third inning, Neeld walked, stole second and third bases, and scored on a wild pitch. In the fourth inning, junior Isabella Ricciardi, Klanderman, and Neeld all contributed RBI singles, and Klanderman added a two-run homerun with her second at bat of the inning.

Klanderman went 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 runs scored, 4 RBI's, 1 HR, and 3 stolen bases. Neeld was 2 for 2, 3 runs scored, 2 RBI's, 1 HR, and 2 stolen bases.

ANC's only hit came in the bottom of the second inning with a single to right field.
