South took a 3-0 lead in the first inning when Epstein and Stocks each led off with a single followed by a double by Decker (1 RBI) and 2 singles by Klepchick (2 RBI) and Marinelli. East scored a run in the 2nd inning to make it 3-1 when Decker got a 2 out single followed by a walk by Marzetti and an RBI single by Caroline Schoenewald. South answered with 2 more runs in the 3rd when Bilker had a homerun and Marinelli had a single that turned into a double when the ball was misplayed. Cessner then had an RBI single. South sealed the 5-1 lead with a run in the 5th and a run in the 6th. The game would have ended 7-1 but East answered in the bottom of the 7th with 5 runs. Carla Ruscio entered the game and led off the inning with a walk. That was followed by a single by Chase. Julia Schoenewald, Kaylynn Johnson and Caroline Schoenewald all contributed singles in the inning while Huckfeldt had a sacrfice ground ball to advance runners and Marzetti also picked up a walk. The inning finished with an out by Chase on a fly ball to short with the bases loaded. East finished the game with 9 hits while South had 11 hits. East left 6 runners in scoring position and South left 5 runners in scoring position.

South took an early lead 3-0 in the 1st sending 8 players to the plate. South continued to hit and ended with a total of 14. Doubles by Morgan Decker (2), Kristyn Marinelli, and Michelle gessner. Haleigh Stocks had a triple to help the cause and Hallie Bilker homered. Stocks struck out 5 and walked 5, 4of the walks were to Danielle Nazareth.. Some of the Southfly ball outs were probably homeruns if there was a fence. Another solid performance from Michelle Gessner at SS
