CB East beat Pennridge 4-1. Pennridge jumped out early when Detweiler started the game with a leadoff triple and Decew had an RBI ground out to shortstop. But that didn't stop East who rallied back in the bottom of the first inning for 2 runs with a triple from Vavala, followed by an RBI grounder by Julia Schoenwald, and a solo homerun by Allie Chase. Allie Chase was 3-for-3 with a homerun, 2 singles, and 3 RBI's. Ali Vavala was 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and 2 runs scored. Jess Haug was also 2-for-3 with a single and a double. Shannon Devlin and Brittany Devlin both added singles. Robyn Zeigler had a strong game for East striking out six batters and allowing 5 hits, and walking 1 batter. Detweiler was 3-for-3 with a triple, 2 singles, and Pennridge's run.
