Quakertown scored first in the top of the first inning when Mulhall walked, Cramp moved her to second and Croisette got an RBI single. In the bottom of the first Ali Vavala led off the inning with a one out bunt, Haug walked, and Laura murray had an RBI single. East scored in the 2nd to make it a 2-1 game, and then Quakertown came back to lead 3-2 in the top of the third inning. In the bottom the third Haug led off with a single, followed by a single by Murray and a double by Chase which allowed 3 runs to score. East took a 5-3 lead. The game was scoreless until the 6th when Caroline Schoenewald led off with a 1 out single and Ali Vavala followed with a 2-run homerun. East took a 7-3 lead but Quakertown battled back in the top of the 7th when Derstine started the inning with a bunt single, followed by singles from Mulhall and Cramp which allowed 2 runs to score, but the rally ended when the next three batters grounded and flew out.
