Paige DeCew threw her finest game of the year allowing only 3 hits, 5 Ks, no walks, and 0 earned runs in 7 innings of work. She also helped herself by driving in a run in the top of the 7th for the Lady Rams. With the score knotted at 2 going into the 7th inning, Emily Mayhew reached with a single. Emily Hofmann then tripled to right centerfield to score Mayhew. Haley Taylor then worked a walk. Brooke Labs then singled to right field to score Hofmann, with Taylor at third. Taylor stole home on a wild pitch. DeCew then drove in Labs with her hit. Alicia Phillips then singled, followed by Morgan Labs reaching first when she was hit by a pitch. Then Lisa Bahmueller reached on a walk to load the bases. Bridget Casey then scored Phillips on a ground out for the 2nd out of the inning. Emily Mayhew then ripped her second hit of the inning to right for a triple, driving in two runs, and was thrown out at home trying to score. DeCew then closed out the Bucks in the bottom of the 7th to preserve the 10-2 victory for the Lady Rams.
