Council Rock North played Archbishop Wood today in our home opener. Council Rock North won the game 6-5.

North definitely had early season growing pains today, committing 7 errors in the field, however, the girls showed a lot of mental toughness and great team chemistry as they continuously rallied together to battle past the struggles.

Kat Hastings threw a complete game 4 hitter (6 Ks), while she also sparked the team offensively putting together a 3 for 3 day at the plate and contributed an RBI. Sofia Shields (2 for 4 with a double, a triple, 2 runs scored, and an RBI), and Isabella Pellitta (3 for 3, 2 doubles, and 2 RBI) both also had big days at the plate for the Indians. All together the team pounded out 12 hits over 6 innings while also swiping 5 bases.
