Highlights-Neshaminy capped off a week in which they won 4 games in 5 days. The redskins were led by sophomore pitcher Lauren Quense once again. Quense tossed 7 innings surrendering 3 runs on 7 hits while striking out 6. The redskins trailed 3-0 in the top of the 5th inning when Quense drove a ball over the center field fence. Quense's homerun was followed by big hits from Sam Offenback and Laura Altenburger. Jen walker then drew a walk. Carly Coleman laid down a sacrafice bunt that was not handled by the Tigers catcher. Freshman Sara Snider-Leonhauser followed with a bases loaded triple. Julia McGovern finished the day for the Redskins 2-5 with 2 rbi's. Coleman also knocked 2 runs home in the 6th inning.
The Tigers were led offensively by Bridget Hunt who was 2-3 and Danielle Jones who knocked in 2 runs.
Lauren Quense finished the week 8-12 with 11 rbi's and 2HR's at the plate. She notched 4 wins in the circle pitching throwing a total of 24 innings surrendering just 4 runs on 15 hits while striking out 40 batters.
