Neshaminy beat Council Rock South 3-0 behind strong pitching from Kennedy Ruth and Mia Barone. Ruth went 6 innings, threw 78 pitches, struck out 13, gave up 1 walk and 1 hit. Mia Barone closed out the game throwing 12 pitches, striking out 2 and didn’t allow a base runner. Neshaminy had 7 new starters on the field and the defense was flawless. Offensively Neshaminy had 9 hits. Kylee Jones went 2 for 3 with a double and a home run. Kylie Siwek went went 2 for 2 with a walk. Other players that contributed to Neshaminy’s offense were Danielle Monaco (sacrifice fly to score 2nd run), Darby Brandt (1 for 3), Mia Barone (1 for 1 and drove in 3rd run), Kennedy Ruth (1 for 2) Michelle Baradiej (1 for 2) and Peyton Tierney (1 for 3).
