Winning pitcher Sarah McGowan struck out 16 and allowed just one hit – an infield single to Rachael Alligood. Both of Truman’s runs were unearned and came without the benefit of a hit in the fourth inning.

The Redskins trailed 2-0 heading into the seventh. Samantha Creamer knotted the score with a two-run single, and the Redskins won it when sophomore Courtney Clee singled up the middle. It was her third hit of the day. Rachael Alligood absorbed the loss.
