Norristown softball won 7-6 in the bottom of the 7th inning @ home against CB West. Gina Pellechio got the game ball as the clutch player of the game with a 2 out full count bases loaded single in the bottom of the 7th that scored Gabbie Berry to win the game. Pellechio also scored the tying run in the bottom of the 6th inning stealing home on a passed ball. Leading the offense for Norristown was Berry (2B) with 3 hits and Taylor Copestick with 2 hits. Also contributing with 1 hit each was Stephanie "Sweat" DiNolfi, Julia Santoro, Sammi Kidd, Pellechio, & Brie Kennedy. Botley pitched a complete game and relied heavily on her defense to get the team out of several jams throughout the game. Kidd, Copestick, Santoro, & Berry flashed the leather on defense with multiple put outs. Norristown softball is back in action Mon 5/16 for Senior Night at East Norriton Recreation Complex off of Germantown Pike vs Plymouth Whitemarsh at 6:00 pm.
