Norristown finally brought their bats today as they sent 31 batters to the plate scoring 15 runs in route to a 15-1 win ending in the 5th under the mercy rule. Norristown exploded in the 2nd inning for 6 runs & 7 runs in the 4th. Norristown's offense was highlighted by a grand slam home run in the 4th inning by captain Shauna Byrnes, who finished the day with 6 RBI's. Also contributing to Norristown's offense with 2 hits & 2 RBI's was Maggie Creciun.

Captain Kimmy Detwiler played another excellent game behind the plate and also contributed to the offense with 1 hit.

Pitcher Daisy Foster continues to be impressive on the mound. Truman's only run was scored on an error and Foster managed to keep the Truman bats unsteady as Truman had runners in scoring position every inning.

Creciun, Devon King, & Gabby Berry continue to play great defense for the eagles in their support of Foster on the mound.

The eagles are back in action on Wednesday at William Tennent at 3:30.
