Norristown softball spotted Wissahickon 6 runs in the top of the 1st inning and then proceeded to score 8 unanswered runs for an 8-6 victory at home today. After that shaky start Norristown's pitcher Daisy Foster relied on fantastic defensive plays by infielders Stephanie Dinolfi & Devon King to back her up on the mound striking out 3 and only allowing 3 base runners for the remainder of the game. Norristown's offense was paced by Maggie Creciun (3 for 4), Shari Lynne Kluth (2 for 4), & Kim Detwiler (2 for 4.) Foster & Dinolfi also contributed with one hit a piece. Shauna Byrnes had 2 big sacrifice flies that scored 2 runs for the eagles.
